The TEI Political Alliance seeks to informally network
Christians in state representative districts, rooted in intercessory
prayer, and from there to participate in local, state and national
politics, based on the ethics and strategies outlined in First
the Gospel, Then Politics...
The TEI suggests these components:
1. Network with like-minded Christians according to the state
representative district in which you live.
2. Meet periodically (monthly, bi-monthly) in private homes or
businesses, for prayer, worship, celebration of
the Lord=s
Supper, and strategic planning.
3. Participate in TEI educational and ministry opportunities as
available.
4. Meet individually with all elected officials and political
candidates, as possible, from school boards up to state and
national levels. Bring to them the initiatives listed here and
solicit response:

The Civil Society Alliance

A Political Affirmation

A Political Party Platform Based on Biblical Ethics.

Resolution #1: The Creator, Science and Public Education.
9
Resolution #2: Human Abortion and a Process of Informed Choice.
9
Resolution #3: Human Abortion and Male
Irresponsibility.
9
Resolution #4: Human Sexuality and Civil Rights.
9
Resolution #5: Affirmative Action.
9
Resolution #6: Drugs and Crime.
9
Resolution #7: Recitation in the Public Schools.
This order of
resolutions centers on touching the image of God in people,
and serves the crucial need to define the
source and nature of unalienable rights. If politicians would
affirm unalienable rights as found in the
Declaration of Independence and in the Fifth and Fourteenth
Amendments, then their resonation
should help pave the way for them to be more open to subsequent
concerns such as protecting the
historic definition of marriage and family, of protecting women and
their unborn equally.
5. Seek to win the implementation of these and cognate initiatives, to
elect godly people to office.
6. Support or participate in Sacred Assemblies for the Unborn,
including the Jeremiah 19 Liturgy.

Petition Drive
The TEI Political Alliance is being first organized in Connecticut, with an initial goal to
stop the push for same-sex "marriage,@
when homosexual activists introduce it, for a third time, to the General Assembly in
February, 2003. We have participated in an ad hoc coalition which
has stopped same-sex "marriage" in 2001 and 2002. Details
forthcoming.
